The Eight Great Principles
Anderson Performance Improvement will help you follow these eight principles to build dynamic, flexible performance initiatives that will take you above and beyond. You can reach new heights of success—and achieve your goals. Let the eight great principles be your guide, and you will soon enjoy the view from the top!

Principle 1 – Keep it Simple
Anderson Performance Improvement defines the Call to Action with two desired behaviors and one result.

Principle 2 – Make a Splash
Throw a party to announce the program and its goals. We will communicate the Call to Action often and creatively!

Principle 3 – Play to Win
Once the program successfully changes participant behavior, run it for no longer than 60 days. Accelerate results by encouraging participants to emulate top-performance behaviors. Celebrate your success. Then we'll raise the bar slightly with the next Call to Action.

Principle 4 – Mix it Up
For optimum performance, mix compensation (base pay and commission) with incentives and recognition. Avoid cash-only rewards, which can be viewed as entitlements.

Principle 5 – Maximize Your Money
Make sure to get what you pay for – never pay for results that would have occurred without the program. Anderson Performance Improvement will investigate how your top performers increase revenue and profits and rule structures will be designed to reward participants for emulating top performers. We'll project ROI and recycle the by-products of the program – an often-overlooked source of hidden savings.

Principle 6 – Review Your Rewards
Rewards need to be rewarding and inspirational. Non-cash rewards allow participants to work toward a dream. A combination of team andindividual rewards will be used for optimum motivation.

Principle 7 – Check Your Focus
We'll double-check the program goals and make sure they align with your strategy. We will engage managers to reinforce the Call to Action behaviors. Anderson Performance Improvement will check the program for fairness and the Call to Action to make sure it is verifiable. We will check your progress routinely.

Principle 8 – Watch Your Gauges
We will pay attention to the hidden stories in the program's measurements: Who gets involved, who's doing it best, and what improvements do we see over the last program? Then we will help you make adjustments at strategic times.
