Chapter 9 - Measurement   WATCH YOUR GAUGES, MAKE ADJUSTMENTS 

When you think of a high-powered, sexy car, what comes to mind? James Bond’s fantasy coupe? The Batmobile?

Allow me to suggest something more worthy of a NASCAR event. You want the lightest weight chassis and the simplest of dashboards—you can only focus on the essential metrics when you’re moving at top speed.

When you’re on the track, you’re at the controls and you’re going the right direction. To win the race, you need to know when to take the turns high, when to take them low. You want to take pit stops at strategic times. Leveraging knowledge sharing and a simplistic behavior based rewards system and your team will be super charged.

Chapter 10 - Finish   WHAT TO DO NEXT 

As I promised out of the gate, I’ve shown you how to focus people’s behaviors on what is really important. Since you’ve gotten this far in the book, I’ll give you a B.S. in behavior-based rewards. But until you’ve applied the information you’ve learned, its value isn’t worth much more than those two letters on your degree.

So the question is this: Have you focused your own behavior on what’s really important? What are the two behaviors and one result you must accomplish to accelerate your company’s growth NOW? How about something like this:

Behavior (Knowledge): Finish reading this chapter to reinforce the principles for building a behavior-based reward program. Behavior: Find a partner who understands behavior-based rewards.
