Hastings, MN (October 12, 2010) Anderson Performance Improvement Company (APIC) is pleased to announce its latest honor, the prestigious Circle of Excellence Award, awarded by the Incentive Marketing Association (IMA) in recognition of APIC’s own employee health and wellness iprogram, “Move It”.
The Incentive Marketing Association presented the 2010 Circle of Excellence Awards on October 13 at The Motivation Show, recognizing five best-in-class companies for creative and successful programs, as well as the marketing incentive partners that worked with them on the campaigns. The Circle of Excellence Award is based on a broad range of criteria including scope of the program, creativity and most importantly, results.
IMA Executive Director Karen Renk CAE commented, “This year’s field of Circle of Excellence Award entries was the most competitive in the program’s history. The “Move It” program is an outstanding example of how an incentive program can be used as an effective business tool to meet specific corporate objectives like health and wellness.”
Anderson Performance Improvement developed “Move It” to increase the physical activity of employees and educate employees about health and wellness. Participants earned points for healthy habits and physical activities. The wellness points were added to an existing online award point account where employees are also recognized by peers and managers.
Because all employees participated in the “Move It” program it resulted in a noticeable impact on the company’s culture. Some changes that resulted from the program were replacing soda machines with filtered water, instituting walking meetings, and offering healthy foods for birthday celebrations.
“I’m so honored and thrilled to receive the Circle of Excellence Award”, said Louise Anderson, APIC President and CEO. “Not only is this program award-winning, it has made a huge impact in the lives of many of our employees.”
This is Anderson Performance’s third time receiving the Circle of Excellence Award. These awards are a clear indication of Anderson Performance Improvement’s team members’ ongoing commitment to creating award-winning employee incentive programs.
